Update 7 p.m.: Lake Havasu City Police Lieutenant Michael Terrinoni has confirmed that the driver involved in Friday evening’s accident has died from their injuries.

The incident occurred on State Route 95 when a northbound vehicle struck a donkey near Airport Centre Boulevard. The impact propelled the vehicle into the southbound lanes, where it collided head-on with a box truck. Initially, the driver was reported to have non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Havasu Regional Medical Center.
