Winter’s First Fresh Snow Blankets the Landscape!

Fresh snow this morning!


PHOENIX — A cold front will sweep across Arizona from Wednesday into Thursday, bringing snow to higher elevations.

Snow is expected to begin overnight, moving from the north to the south. By 6 a.m. Wednesday, areas near the White Mountains will begin to see accumulation. Snow levels are projected to remain above 5,500 feet.

Apache County and the Chuska Mountains are likely to receive the most snowfall, with projections of 3-6 inches. Other regions will see lesser amounts, while lower desert areas will remain dry.

The weather will turn milder as the weekend approaches, with temperatures forecast to reach the 80s by Sunday.
