Three-Car Crash on State Route 347 Causes Minor Injuries

On November 22, 2024, a three-car collision occurred in the southbound lanes of State Route 347, disrupting traffic for nearly an hour. The incident took place around 12:06 p.m. near Riggs Road, as confirmed by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT).

According to DPS spokesperson Bart Graves, the crash was triggered by a motorist who reported brake failure, leading his vehicle to collide with another. This initial impact subsequently caused two additional cars to collide.

Traffic cameras captured the scene, revealing a silver sedan and two larger white vehicles involved in the crash. The front end of the sedan sustained visible damage. Fortunately, there were only minor injuries reported, and no individuals were transported to the hospital.

Emergency responders, including law enforcement and a tow truck, arrived by 12:36 p.m. The lanes were cleared, and normal traffic resumed by 1 p.m., per ADOT updates. Inquiries made to the Arizona Department of Public Safety for further details went unanswered at the time of reporting.
