Toddler drowns in the VOC 

A tragic incident occurred in the Village of Oak Creek, Arizona, as a 1-year-old boy drowned in a residential pool. The Sedona Fire District and the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office reported the unfortunate event, which took place on Saturday evening, July 27.

The drowning happened in a home located near Bell Rock Boulevard and Verde Valley School Road. The call for help was initially routed through the Cottonwood Police Department, highlighting the urgency and severity of the situation. Despite rapid emergency response, the young child could not be saved.
