The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) announced the cancellation of the overnight lane restrictions on northbound State Route 347, initially scheduled for June 27, 2025. These restrictions were related to construction at the Gila River Bridge, situated between Casa Blanca and Riggs Roads.

The project was completed unexpectedly ahead of schedule, with the work wrapped up in just one night. This efficiency eliminates the need for more overnight closures, a relief to the over 6,000 commuters impacted by the planned work. However, future disruptions may occur with the upcoming SR 347 expansion.

In response to the swift progress, ADOT extended its congratulations to the construction crews for their impressive work. For ongoing updates on road conditions and construction projects, ADOT maintains a dedicated website.
