Revolutionizing Perspectives: Meet Lisa Fink
Lisa Fink, the newly elected state representative for Legislative District 27, brings a wealth of political experience to her first term in office. With a clear focus on state and parental rights, she is poised to influence key legislative matters.
As the president of the Protect Arizona Children Coalition, Fink advocates for the removal of sex education and materials she deems inappropriate from Arizona schools. Her commitment to these issues underscores her approach to education policy.
Fink is actively involved with Mommy Lobby AZ, an organization dedicated to enhancing parental rights and safeguarding data privacy. Her previous role as chair of the Arizona State Constitutional Commemoration Committee showcased her dedication to civic education regarding the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Entering her inaugural legislative session, Fink plans to adhere closely to foundational American principles. “My efforts would be to base my bills or my votes on foundational principles that are articulated in the Declaration of Independence and in the Constitution,” she stated.
Fink has identified three focus areas for her forthcoming legislation: state rights and sovereignty, parental involvement in education, and the principle of “consent of the governed.” This principle emphasizes that legitimate government authority derives from the consent of its citizens.
While Fink refrained from disclosing specific details about her legislative agenda, she indicated that state sovereignty would play a significant role, particularly concerning energy policy. “I knocked on thousands of doors, and a big, big thing that came up was the economy, the cost of gas, [and] cost of electricity,” she explained. “So my state sovereignty bills should address the root reasons and root causes of some of those problems.”
