RED man arrested after chilling threat to neighbor over dog mess
A disturbing incident unfolded in Maricopa on Halloween morning, leading to the arrest of 46-year-old Cory R. Kroeger. The confrontation stemmed from a complaint involving a neighbor’s dog, as detailed in a probable cause statement.
According to reports, police were dispatched shortly after 9 a.m. to North Van Loo Drive near West Little Drive after receiving calls about Kroeger threatening to kill a woman and her dog. Witnesses stated that Kroeger, driving a Chevrolet truck, confronted the woman due to her dog’s bathroom habits on his property.
The police report indicated that Kroeger expressed extreme anger, stating he would harm both the woman and her pet. Officers later located him at his home on North Allen Court around 10:42 a.m., where he was found yelling aggressively over another neighbor’s dog.
Kroeger was arrested after the victim identified him during a police drive-by. He was subsequently booked into the Pinal County jail and now faces potential sentencing of up to 18 months if convicted.
