Park Pillow Fight Turns Chaotic: Man Passes Out and Gets Arrested

A pillow fight that turned violent has led to serious criminal charges in Maricopa. Authorities apprehended Tylar L. Charley, 27, after a domestic disturbance escalated into alleged assaults and ended in a neighborhood park.
Police were called to Charley’s home on West Cheyenne Drive early Sunday morning. Reports indicate that Charley attacked his mother and girlfriend with a pillow, while his two children were present in the room.
Officers later located Charley passed out at a nearby park. He admitted to the assault but insisted that it was a private family matter. Law enforcement reminded him that assault laws apply to everyone, regardless of familial relationships.
When questioned further, Charley attempted to escape and resisted arrest. Eventually, officers managed to subdue and arrest him. He now faces charges of resisting arrest, assault, and disorderly conduct.
Charley was taken to the Pinal County Jail and could be looking at up to a year-and-a-half in prison if convicted.
