Overnight Traffic Restrictions on SR 347 Set to Begin This Friday
Traffic Advisory: Overnight Paving Work on SR 347
Travelers using Maricopa’s primary route, State Route 347, should anticipate delays beginning Friday evening. The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) announced that overnight paving will reduce the road to one lane in each direction near Cement Plant Road from 8 p.m. on March 28 to 7 a.m. on March 29.
Following this initial phase, crews will continue work by narrowing SR 347 again near Casa Blanca Road. The schedule for this section includes overnight closures from 8 p.m. on March 30 to 5 a.m. on March 31 and again from 8 p.m. on March 31 to 5 a.m. on April 1.
ADOT emphasizes the importance of safety during these construction periods. Drivers are encouraged to abide by the reduced speed limit of 55 miles per hour in work zones. Authorities advise motorists to remain vigilant, slow down, and merge carefully when approaching and navigating through these sites.
