Maricopa City Councilman Vincent Manfredi has officially announced his intent to run for re-election in 2026, demonstrating that the political landscape is already shifting as the next election cycle approaches. This declaration comes shortly after he had indicated uncertainty about pursuing a fourth term.
In a statement, Manfredi reflected on his motivations for serving in local government. “I was told 11 years ago that if I wanted to be a part of the solution, I should run for office, and I did,” he shared. “I will be running for re-election in 2026 because the job I started is not done.”
The councilman articulated key issues he aims to continue addressing: improving State Route 347, advancing economic development, and completing initiatives in the Industrial Triangle to bring jobs to Maricopa. “Those are jobs that we started, and they’re not finished yet,” he asserted, underscoring his commitment to local progress.
This upcoming election will mark Manfredi’s pursuit of a fourth consecutive four-year term. His political career began in 2014, alongside Mayor Nancy Smith and Vice Mayor Henry Wade. Prior to his council tenure, he also sought a position on the Maricopa Unified School District’s governing board in 2011 and 2012.
Vincent Manfredi is also notably associated with InMaricopa, where he serves as an owner.
