LeAnn Rimes is set to headline the upcoming Wild West Music Fest in Maricopa, scheduled for Saturday, April 5. This announcement came via a city news release on Thursday, stirring excitement among local music fans.

Rimes, a multi-platinum recording artist, made history as the youngest solo artist to win a Grammy at 14. She is best known for chart-topping hits such as “How Do I Live,” “Blue,” and “Can’t Fight the Moonlight.” Notably, “How Do I Live” holds the record for Billboard’s Hot 100 all-time No. 1 hit by a female artist, ranking No. 6 on Billboard’s Greatest of All Time: Hot 100 Songs.

City officials, along with Scottsdale-based Steve LeVine Entertainment, are expected to unveil additional artists in the coming weeks. This marks the second year of the Wild West Music Fest, which promises to expand from its inaugural event.

The festival will run from April 4 to April 6, with single-day tickets available for families. Prices start at $15 for children aged 5 to 12 and $30 for adults, while Sunday tickets will cost $5 for kids and $15 for adults.

Anticipations are high, as the city expects this year’s festival to be nearly twice the size of its predecessor. In addition to LeAnn Rimes’ headline performance, attendees can expect a full-sized Ferris wheel, numerous carnival rides, and a variety of food trucks.

“We are excited to welcome the amazing LeAnn Rimes to this year’s festival,” remarked Steve LeVine, CEO of SLE. “Her iconic voice has resonated with audiences worldwide, and we are honored to bring her talent to Maricopa.”

Mayor Nancy Smith emphasized the festival’s significance for the community, stating, “The Wild-West Music Fest is a highlight for our city, and this year’s talent lineup is going to make it even more unforgettable.”
