Latest Polls Reveal Trump’s Dominance in Arizona Race

By Daniel Stefanski |
As the November General Election approaches, former President Donald J. Trump appears to retain a slight lead in Arizona, a crucial state in the electoral landscape. According to recent data from Decision Desk HQ and The Hill, Trump holds a narrow 1.3% advantage over Vice President Kamala Harris. Additionally, the Real Clear Politics poll average indicates a similar margin, with Trump ahead by 1.1%.
Multiple recent polls shed light on voter sentiment in Arizona:
- Trafalgar: Trump +2 over Harris (48-46)
- NYT/Siena: Trump +5 over Harris (51-46)
- Emerson: Trump +2 over Harris (49-47)
According to the Emerson survey, immigration is the foremost concern for 30% of voters, while the economy follows closely at 24%. In contrast, the NYT/Siena poll places the economy at the forefront, cited by 24% of respondents, compared to immigration at 18%. Trump has gained ground among voters who believe he can better handle their primary concerns, leading Harris by eleven percent—a notable improvement from the previous month.
With early voting already underway, Arizonans are casting their ballots for President and other key positions. This state has historically been a battleground, with both parties fiercely competing for voter allegiance. Trump secured Arizona in 2016, while Joe Biden narrowly won it in the 2020 election. In those contests, the candidate who triumphed in Arizona ultimately clinched the presidency.
