Kittelson named CEO

The Foundation for Blind Children (FBC) has announced the retirement of Marc Ashton after 17 years in the role of CEO, effective June 30. Jared Kittelson, who has been with FBC since 2017 and most recently served as COO, will assume the position.

Jared Kittelson has an impressive pedigree. He participated in the 2019 Allstate Foundation Nonprofit Executive Leadership Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. In 2023, he was named a Fellow with the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust.

Founded in 1952, FBC is committed to providing essential education, tools, and services to enhance the independence of people with vision loss. The organization serves over 2,000 individuals of all ages, ranging from newborns to centenarians.
