High-Speed Chase in Arizona Ends with Crash and Arrest

Arizona state troopers tried to pull a driver over. The driver tried to flee, but crashed and has now been arrested


The crash happened near the Grant Street off-ramp on I-17 in Phoenix.

PHOENIX — A crash near the Grant Street off-ramp led to the driver being arrested, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

DPS informed Arizonanews.org that troopers attempted to stop a driver at milepost 200, south of the I-17/I-10 interchange.

The driver refused to comply and attempted to flee, resulting in a crash.

The incident led to minor injuries, and the driver was subsequently taken into custody.

Authorities have not disclosed the reason for the initial traffic stop. The identity of the detained driver remains unknown at this time.
