Hangry Wife’s Dinner Dilemma Turns Violent as She Stabs Husband Multiple Times
A Tortosa woman was arrested Sunday night following a violent altercation with her husband, according to the Maricopa Police Department. The incident began when she attempted to use the microwave, only to find her husband already warming his meal.
Marlyna R. Rockwell, 37, now faces charges of assault and domestic violence, as outlined in a probable cause statement. Police responded to the domestic violence report just before 7 p.m. at the couple’s home on Marin Avenue.
The husband alleged that Rockwell threatened him unless he relinquished the microwave immediately. A heated exchange escalated quickly; she purportedly slammed the back of his head with the microwave door and stabbed him multiple times in the back with a plastic knife. Officers observed several bloody cuts on his back.
