PHOENIX — High pressure is settling in, leading to a gradual increase in temperatures from Wednesday through Friday. Daytime highs in the desert will start at the upper 70s on Wednesday and climb into the low 80s by Thursday and Friday. In several northern regions like Prescott, Flagstaff, Payson, and Sedona, cooler temperatures will hover in the range of 50s to 60s. Residents can expect a series of sunny days ahead.
However, a shift is anticipated by Sunday night, when a new weather system will bring a drop in temperatures along with the possibility of rain. This system is also expected to introduce wind gusts across Northern Arizona from Saturday through Tuesday. In addition, snowfall may affect Flagstaff. More detailed timings and impacts will become clearer as the weekend approaches.
