Republican Khyl Powell has officially begun his tenure in the Arizona House, representing Legislative District 14. A resident of Gilbert for over 25 years, Powell identifies strongly with the Republican Party, emphasizing his commitment to its values.

With a varied professional background, Powell’s experience includes a career with the Phoenix Police Department and the FBI. He has also led a multi-million dollar service company for 24 years and managed an industrial real estate development firm in Gilbert for two decades. His involvement in local governance is evident from his roles on the Town of Gilbert’s Planning Commission and the Gilbert Small Business Alliance board.

Powell’s platform prioritizes several key issues: parental rights, school choice, border security, First and Second Amendment rights, the right to life, and election integrity. He articulates his mission clearly on his campaign site, stating, “My goal is to defend our God-given liberties and restore a government that is truly of, by and for the people.”
