Fluffy Sisters on a Heartfelt Quest for Their Forever Home

Big Fluffy and Mini Fluffy, a pair of three-year-old Lionhead Rabbits, are searching for a new home. These sisters were recently surrendered to the Arizona Humane Society (AHS) after their previous owner could no longer care for them.
This surge in animal surrenders has become increasingly common in the Valley, as many pet owners grapple with challenges like housing instability, rising inflation, and limited access to affordable veterinary care. As a result, AHS has experienced a significant uptick in requests for surrendering healthy, owned animals, which contributes to overcrowding in shelters.
The endearing duo thrives on fresh vegetables and enjoys playful exercise together. They require a specialized bunny diet and a suitable living environment to flourish in their new home. Currently, AHS is waiving adoption fees for all adoptable animals to encourage adoptions and alleviate shelter overcrowding.
Prospective adopters can meet Big Fluffy and Mini Fluffy (pet numbers 780369 and 780370) at AHS’ Papago Park Campus. Their waived adoption fee includes spay surgeries, microchips, and a follow-up wellness exam with a VCA Animal Hospital.
