Following a summer recess, council members in Phoenix are set to resume their regular meeting schedule this month, offering residents opportunities to engage with local representatives.

District 4 Councilwoman Laura Pastor will kick off the fall season with her first coffee chat on Wednesday, September 4th, at Los Portales Mexican Food, located at 2814 N. 35th Ave. This event, scheduled from 6 to 7:30 p.m., will focus on the Gated Alley Program and include Community Action Officers from the Maryvale Estrella Precinct, who will discuss crime-related concerns in the area. Residents can reach the council office at council.district.4@phoenix.gov or call 602-262-7447 for more information.

Councilman Kevin Robinson from District 6 will host a coffee chat on Friday, September 20th, at Fire Station 43, 4110 E. Chandler Blvd. He will also return to the North Central area on October 25th at Luci’s at the Orchard. Both meetings will take place from 7 to 9 a.m. For inquiries, residents can contact his office at council.district.6@phoenix.gov or 602-262-7491.

District 3 residents will have to wait until December for their community chat due to a blackout period related to the upcoming November election, as Vice Mayor Debra Stark is campaigning for reelection. In the interim, residents can reach out via email at council.district.3@phoenix.gov or call 602-262-7441.
