Emily Pike's cause of death revealed

Phoenix — The investigation into the murder of 14-year-old Emily Pike, a member of the San Carlos Apache tribe, has taken a significant turn. Her remains, discovered on February 14, were found in trash bags near US 60, two weeks after she was last seen on January 27.

Authorities have confirmed that Pike succumbed to homicidal violence characterized by blunt head trauma, as stated by the Pinal County Medical Examiner’s Office. Investigators, however, do not believe the location where her remains were found is the scene of the crime.

The Gila County Sheriff’s Office, alongside agents from the FBI, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and San Carlos Apache tribal police, continues to pursue leads in this case. A dedicated online tip line has been established for public input, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in resolving this incident.
