Driver Charged After Collision with Motorcyclist in the Villages, Say Authorities

A low-speed collision occurred today in The Villages at Rancho El Dorado, leading to a citation for the driver involved in the incident.

Maricopa police and fire crews responded to the accident at approximately 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of West Edison Road and Butterfield Parkway, as reported by city spokesperson Monica Williams.

Williams stated, “A car had pulled into the roadway and collided at a very low speed with a motorcycle.” The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries, including bumps and bruises, but declined further medical evaluation.

As a result of the incident, the vehicle’s driver received a citation for failure to yield.
