Demonstrators Rally in Bold Counter Protest Against Anti-Trump, Anti-Hamadeh Activists

Demonstrators gathered along Bell Road, rallying in support of Congressman Abe Hamadeh, Elon Musk, and the Trump administration. This counter-protest aimed to respond to the “Indivisible” group, which has been actively opposing Hamadeh and Trump for the last two weeks.

Participants from various Republican legislative districts expressed their backing for Hamadeh, Musk, and Trump. One supporter posted on X, “Today’s support for Congressman Abe Hamadeh! We love the Happy Warrior!!!”

Peggy Jacobs, a demonstrator, shared her motivations in an interview with AZ Free News. “We became aware of the ‘Indivisible’ group’s negative stance on everything conservative, especially regarding Abe and Elon Musk. We felt compelled to counter that protest and voice our support for Hamadeh, Musk, and the actions in Washington, D.C.,” she explained.

Jacobs noted an increase in turnout over the past few days, reporting 35 supporters from Legislative District 28 on Monday and approximating 40 the next day. “If they’re going to be there, then we plan to be there,” she stated regarding the continuity of demonstrations.

Lisa Everett, chairwoman of Republican LD29 and an organizer of the protest, explained her response to the opposing demonstrations against Hamadeh. “I said, ‘Oh no, we can’t let that stand,’ so I organized the group. We arrive early to claim our space and hold our signs. My goal is to keep our groups separate to maintain a positive atmosphere,” she mentioned.

Everett added, “We both believe in the First Amendment, which is why we are demonstrating.” She displayed her commitment to the cause by creating signs that read, “We voted for this.” She rebutted claims that people didn’t support Elon Musk, quipping, “No one voted for Anthony Fauci,” which highlighted her perspective on governmental leadership.

On Hamadeh’s standing in the district, Everett remarked, “Congressman Hamadeh supports President Trump, and Trump’s platform resonates with many. There’s a lot of misinformation out there. Some genuinely believe that Elon Musk affects their Social Security, which is unfounded. Hamadeh is a true patriot who embodies the American Dream.”
