Dash acquires both Fast & Friendly car washes in Maricopa

Dash Car Wash has officially acquired both Fast & Friendly Car Washes located in Maricopa. New signage reflecting this change will be installed shortly.

The acquisition, handled by Goodyear-based Ultra Clean Intermediate, positions Dash Car Wash to enhance its presence in the Southwestern car wash market. A confirmation letter from Global Sign Works dated June 23 outlined the transition at the Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway site, while documentation from June 19 named Dash as the new operator of the original John Wayne Parkway location, which commenced operations in 2014.

According to Arizona Corporation Commission filings, Ultra Clean Intermediate is a subsidiary of Delaware-based Ultra Clean RE Holdings. Notably, the acquisition of the Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway location was finalized on December 31, as revealed in a Pinal County deed.

This expansion follows Dash’s successful entries into Arizona after establishing a foothold in both Nevada and Texas. The company now boasts eight locations in the West Valley and four in the East Valley, broadening its operational reach.

Maricopa’s car wash landscape is shifting. In April, the city’s zoning board denied a rezoning request for a new Terrible’s car wash, signaling a cautious approach in a city typically known for its growth. Additionally, Super Star Car Wash has unveiled plans for a proposed facility near John Wayne Parkway and Honeycutt Avenue, indicative of the area’s evolving commercial development.

Residents of Maricopa can anticipate the removal of Fast & Friendly signs in favor of new Dash branding featuring a vibrant purple and teal color scheme in the upcoming weeks.
