Isabella Strahan, daughter of 'Good Morning America' host, reveals she's cancer-free

Isabella Strahan, daughter of “Good Morning America” host Michael Strahan, has announced that she is cancer-free following a diagnosis of medulloblastoma, a type of brain tumor, earlier this year.

In a heartfelt YouTube video titled “Goodbye Hospital,” Isabella, 19, documented her final doctor’s appointment and MRI scan, where she received the all-clear. “Great scans, everything was clear. Cancer-free,” she shared.

The teenager has been open about her journey since January, detailing her treatment and progress through a series of videos. Isabella completed her chemotherapy at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center last month.

Michael Strahan celebrated his daughter’s milestone on Instagram. A video showed Isabella ringing the hospital’s bell, symbolizing the end of her chemotherapy, with her family cheering.

Isabella initially ignored her symptoms, attributing them to vertigo. It wasn’t until a severe episode of vomiting blood last October that she sought medical attention. Doctors discovered a 4-centimeter tumor at the back of her brain.

Following surgery to remove the tumor, Isabella underwent extensive rehabilitation and radiation. Her twin sister, Sophia, played a crucial role in her recovery, even helping her learn to walk again.

Isabella’s resilience and the support of her loved ones have made this victory possible. She won’t have another doctor’s appointment until October.
