New documentary film explores the world of Arizona wine

While California and Washington dominate discussions about American wine regions, Arizona is poised for recognition. Kellie Mendoza and Sean Oliver, co-founders of Chandler’s Amoroma Productions, aim to shift that perception with their latest documentary, titled “Vintage Arizona: The Heart of Winemaking.” The film is now available for streaming on Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video.

Mendoza, serving as the producer, expressed the project’s central goal: to elevate the profile of the Arizona wine industry. The documentary explores this emerging region’s potential, showcasing its unique terroirs and the passion of its winemakers. “We wanted to tell a story that highlights Arizona’s hidden gems,” Mendoza added. The film features interviews with local vintners, capturing both the challenges and triumphs they face in this evolving market.

As interest in Arizona wines continues to grow, Mendoza and Oliver hope their documentary will inspire viewers to explore and appreciate the state’s burgeoning wine scene. “We believe that if people see the quality and diversity of Arizona wines, they will give them a try,” Oliver noted. With the film’s release, the duo anticipates attracting both wine enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
