Arizona’s Olympians showcased their talents on the global stage Sunday, competing in various sports at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Here’s a rundown of their remarkable performances and achievements.
Gymnast Jade Carey continues to shine, having already secured a gold and a bronze medal. Skateboarder Jagger Eaton added a silver to his collection, while swimmer Léon Marchand dominated with four gold medals, exemplifying Arizona’s strong presence in the games.
The USA men’s 3×3 basketball team, featuring former Phoenix Suns player Jimmer Fredette, faced a tough battle. After a disappointing loss to the Netherlands, Team USA did not advance past pool play.
