Abe Hamadeh Secures Major Support from National Border Patrol Council

Republican candidate Abe Hamadeh for Arizona’s 8th Congressional District has secured a pivotal endorsement from the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC). This announcement was made on Friday, enhancing his campaign visibility as he navigates the political landscape.
Previously, Hamadeh gained traction with the endorsement of former President Donald Trump, who backed both Hamadeh and fellow candidate Blake Masters in a unique dual endorsement earlier this year. The NBPC’s President, Paul Pérez, emphasized Hamadeh’s commitment to national security and border integrity in supporting his candidacy. In a statement shared on X, Pérez asserted, “Abe has dedicated his life to serving this great nation, ensuring our security and upholding the rule of law.”
During a recent interview with Fox News, Hamadeh expressed his concerns regarding the escalating border crisis and its implications for Arizona, specifically relating to illegal immigration and crime. He attributed these issues to the policies of Vice President Kamala Harris and the Biden administration, framing the border situation as a critical concern for voters in his district.
“The border is the number one issue for everybody,” Hamadeh stated, stressing that constituents frequently cite the ramifications of border policy as their primary concern. He highlighted specific incidents of crime, particularly linked to gangs he described as “tourist burglars,” who have allegedly been breaking into homes across the Phoenix metropolitan area.
Hamadeh insisted that the rising crime rate is no longer confined to urban centers but has extended into suburban communities as well, calling it a direct consequence of the current immigration policies. He criticized the administration by saying, “Everybody knows it’s a joke.”
Drawing on his experience as a former military intelligence officer, Hamadeh warned about the potential national security risks posed by the current border situation. He noted the influx of Taiwanese tech companies establishing operations in his district, which he characterized as a significant economic boon, but also a vulnerability due to unvetted crossings from foreign nationals.
“We have an open border, and you’ve got 30,000 Communist Chinese who have crossed our southern border last year,” he remarked. Hamadeh underlined the threat this represents to national security, citing recent intelligence that suggests foreign adversaries may exploit the porous border. “Just last week, we discovered that Iran or somebody may have snuck through ten shoulder-fired missiles,” he warned.
In summary, Hamadeh’s campaign is positioned to capitalize on the ongoing concerns surrounding border security and crime in Arizona’s 8th District, rallying support from both law enforcement and constituents who prioritize these issues.
