Tragic Discovery: Woman Found Deceased in Baggage Machine at Chicago Airport

Firefighters discovered a deceased woman trapped in a conveyor belt system in O’Hare International Airport’s baggage room on Thursday morning.
The Chicago Fire Department stated that the woman was found at 7:45 a.m. in a restricted area not open to the public. Larry Langford, a spokesperson for the department, indicated that they received a report of a person ensnared in machinery designed for moving baggage.
The cause for her presence in the restricted area remains unclear, and she appeared to be approximately 40 years old, with no immediate signs indicating she was an airport employee. Firefighters handed the investigation over to police after securing the scene.
As of Thursday afternoon, the Chicago Police Department had not responded to inquiries made by The Associated Press regarding the incident.
