Pima Baseball Celebrates 10 Stars Named to All-ACCAC and All-Region Teams

The Pima Community College baseball team celebrated significant individual achievements during the All-ACCAC Conference Division II and All-Region I, Division II selections, highlighting standout performances from the regular season.
Sophomore right-handed pitcher Nate Gray from Queen Creek High School earned a spot on the First Team All-ACCAC and All-Region as a starting pitcher. His impressive record includes a 7-1 mark over ten starts, alongside a noteworthy 2.60 ERA across 55.1 innings, resulting in 53 strikeouts.
Fellow sophomore Tsubasa Tomii was recognized as First Team All-ACCAC and All-Region for his role as a relief pitcher. He posted a 4-1 record with a remarkable 0.75 ERA over 24 innings, achieving four saves and 34 strikeouts.
First Team honors also went to sophomore infielder Caden Richards, who batted .367 and accumulated 62 hits in 169 at-bats. He recorded 55 RBIs and 51 runs, alongside 34 walks and 12 stolen bases. Richards also garnered a nomination for the 2025 Gold Glove due to his solid .946 fielding percentage.
Freshman outfielder Sean Barta excelled, earning First Team All-ACCAC and All-Region status as well. He posted a .385 batting average, racked up 50 hits, and contributed significantly with 35 RBIs and 31 runs. Barta maintained a .973 fielding percentage with 71 putouts.
Jackson Glueck, a freshman playing both first base and left-handed pitcher, was awarded First Team honors as a utility player. He had a strong season with a .383 average, totaling 67 hits and 51 RBIs in 53 games. Glueck also showcased defensive skills, achieving a .985 fielding percentage.
Freshman left-handed pitcher Luis Pablo Navarro from Walden Grove High School earned a spot on the Second Team. His record included a 7-2 mark with a 3.41 ERA, accumulating 70 strikeouts over 60.2 innings pitched.
Sophomore Nolan Ganter, recognized on the Second Team as an infielder, had an impressive season with a .330 average and 63 hits in 191 at-bats, leading the team with 11 home runs. He also boasts a stellar .985 fielding percentage.
Collin Senior, another sophomore infielder, was selected for the Second Team, batting .367 with 62 hits and contributing significantly to the team’s offensive output.
Leon Cereceres, a freshman outfielder, received Second Team honors after achieving a .364 batting average, with 59 hits and a .953 fielding percentage.
Additionally, freshman 1B/OF Zach Plasschaert earned recognition as the Second Team designated hitter, demonstrating his prowess with a .322 batting average and 47 RBIs.
Looking ahead, the No. 2 seeded Aztecs are set to face No. 3 seed Paradise Valley Community College in a best-of-3 series for the Region I Division II Semifinals. The series will take place at the West Campus Aztec Field, with the opening game scheduled for Thursday at 2 p.m.
