‘347 SUX’ Launches at CVS: Maricopa’s Bold Merch Line Takes Center Stage

In an unexpected twist, a CVS store in Maricopa has introduced a unique line of merchandise that has caught local attention. Located on Smith-Enke Road at John Wayne Parkway, this particular CVS, part of the larger pharmacy chain, has become a local hub for a new trend: humorous t-shirts that playfully mock State Route 347.
Lauren Hart, a store employee, shared that the t-shirts featuring Arizona license plate designs with cheeky messages like “347 SUX,” “347 LAME,” and “347 NO BUENO” have been available for just a couple of months. The initial popularity of these shirts saw them prominently displayed at the front of the store, though they have since been moved to the back due to high sales.
“We must have sold enough to go down to one rack,” Hart noted, highlighting the demand for the quirky apparel. The designs have resonated particularly with locals like Mary Ann Valencia from Santa Rosa Springs, who expressed her fondness for the “347 NO BUENO” shirt.
This inventive apparel line is produced by Sierra Madre Trading, a company based in Los Angeles County that specializes in custom t-shirt designs for retailers including CVS. Shoppers interested in purchasing these shirts are encouraged to act swiftly, as the ability to reorder remains uncertain.
