WORCS Off-Road Racing Roars Back to Havasu!
Lake Havasu City is buzzing with excitement as the World Off-Road Racing Championships unfold at Crazy Horse Campground. This thrilling off-road event sees hundreds of competitors vying for supremacy, showcasing breathtaking skill and speed.
Kicking off on Thursday, racers tackled the varied terrain of the Island Race Track. High-speed engines roared while dust clouds billowed, capturing the attention of the enthusiastic crowds. The picturesque landscape, featuring steep slopes and rolling hills, allowed for impressive aerial stunts, attracting both fans and participants alike.
The competition, featuring ATV and dirt bike races, will run late into the weekend. Racing events are scheduled for Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will conclude on Sunday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
For those unable to attend this weekend’s festivities, mark your calendars: WORCS Off-Road Racing is set to return with its side-by-side racing competition from October 25-27.
General admission is priced at $15 per day or $30 for a weekend wristband for adults. Children’s wristbands, for those under the age of 12, are available at $15 for the weekend. Notably, veterans, active military personnel, and kids under 3 enter free of charge.
