Women's gymnastics: Here's the remaining schedule for individual events

Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, and Suni Lee are set to enhance their Olympic medal tally in Paris.

PARIS, France — Simone Biles has already clinched three gold medals at the Paris Olympics. The U.S. women’s gymnastics team still has multiple opportunities to expand their medal collection before departing.

The trio, including Biles, Chiles, and Lee, will conclude the gymnastics events on Monday with two final competitions. Qualification for these finals required a top-8 finish in the team qualification round.

Unfortunately, Hezly Rivera, the youngest member of the gold-winning team, did not qualify for any individual finals.

Biles, celebrated as the world’s most decorated gymnast, secured qualifications for every individual final except the uneven bars.

On Monday, August 5, Biles will participate in the women’s balance beam final at 6:36 a.m. ET, followed by the women’s floor exercise final at 8:20 a.m. ET, alongside Jordan Chiles.

Biles narrowly missed the uneven bars final, finishing ninth—just outside the qualification but securing a reserve spot.

The remaining individual finals for the U.S. women’s gymnastics team will also occur on Monday.

Regarding her future, Biles has been discreet, indicating her next focus will be the post-Olympic tour she headlines. She has also expressed concerns about missing life milestones due to her commitment to gymnastics.

After earning her seventh Olympic gold on Saturday in the vault final, Biles hinted at retiring her signature Yurchenko double pike vault but left open the possibility of a return when the Olympics move to Los Angeles in 2028.

“Never say never,” Biles remarked. “Next Olympics are at home. So you just never know. I am getting really old.”

The Paris Summer Games mark Biles’ third Olympic appearance. She debuted in Rio, bagging four golds and one bronze, and returned in Tokyo to win silver in the team event and bronze on the balance beam.

During the Tokyo Olympics, Biles withdrew from several events due to a condition referred to as “the twisties,” a dangerous loss of spatial awareness that can lead to serious injury in gymnastics.
