Woman Injured in Honeycutt Collision, Hospitalized for Treatment
A two-vehicle accident on Honeycutt Road resulted in a woman being hospitalized on the evening of November 9, 2024. The collision occurred just west of North Hartman Road shortly before 8 p.m., prompting a response from Maricopa police and fire departments.
City spokesperson Quinn Konold confirmed that the only individuals involved were the drivers of the respective vehicles. The white Jeep Patriot was significantly damaged, with its front end and roof affected by the impact. The Nissan Altima also sustained front-end damage, and debris, including parts of its headlights, was discovered several feet away from the roadway.
Authorities escorted the male driver of the Nissan home, while the female driver of the Jeep was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The road was closed for approximately one hour as first responders worked to clear the scene, with both vehicles being towed away by 9:15 p.m.
