West Valley Shooting Tragedy Claims One Life

PHOENIX — A shooting incident occurred on Saturday in the West Valley, resulting in the death of a man, as confirmed by the Phoenix Police Department.

The shooting took place in the 4900 block of Cheery Lynn Road, near the intersection of 51st Avenue and Thomas Road. After the shooting, the victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have not yet disclosed the man’s identity.

Investigating officers conducted interviews with several witnesses on Saturday night to gather information regarding the events leading up to the incident. Police reported that a vehicle was seen leaving the scene with a suspect aboard.
