PHOENIX — Four individuals were hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision in the West Valley, per the Phoenix Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to the accident near 35th Avenue and Bell Road at around 9:30 p.m. on Monday. A person was extricated from one of the vehicles involved.

Two men sustained critical injuries and were transported to the hospital. A man and a woman, with less severe injuries, received treatment at the scene before being hospitalized.

Phoenix police have commenced an investigation into the incident.
