Storm chances go down this weekend


PHOENIX — Shower and storm activity scaled back on Saturday in the Valley. A few storms near the White Mountains and Tucson popped up, but the rest of the state stayed dry and hot.

Sunday will bring a slim chance for shower and storm activity, about 20%. A few storms are expected in Southeast Arizona, near the White Mountains, and around Tucson. Temperatures will stay between 110-115 degrees through the new work week.

WEDNESDAY: 112/90 Mostly sunny

THURSDAY: 112/91 Mostly sunny

FRIDAY: 112/92 Mostly sunny
