PHOENIX — The competition for the Sweet Play of the Week is heating up as three high school football plays gain nominations for this prestigious title. Each week on the Friday Night Fever program, viewers can witness the top performances from local schools and cast their votes.

This week, nominees include Brophy wide receiver Devin Fitzgerald, who showcased impressive agility while dodging defenders to score a touchdown. Kellis’ Avery Rodriguez made headlines with a remarkable interception return for a touchdown. Highland’s Logan Bonham sealed the game with a game-winning pick six.

Voting is now open at 12News.com/Fever, where fans have until next Friday at 10 a.m. to select their favorite play. The winner will be announced during Week 6 of Friday Night Fever. All weekly victors will compete for a $5,000 scholarship at the end of the season, sponsored by Sweet James Accident Attorneys.
