Three exciting plays have been nominated for the Sweet Play of the Week, each vying for a chance to win a $5,000 scholarship at season’s end, sponsored by Sweet James Accident Attorneys.

PHOENIX — The 35th season of Friday Night Fever has reached Week 8, Arizona’s premier high school football showcase. As the season progresses, fan engagement is key to deciding this week’s top highlight.

As part of the show, the top three plays from each week—termed “Sweet Plays”—are presented, and viewers are invited to vote online for their favorite at 12News.com/Fever.

This week, the nominees are:

• Bode Wagner from Red Mountain caught a juggling pass that led to a 70-yard touchdown.
• Gionn Jones from Snowflake made a diving interception.
• Jack Isidore from Verrado broke multiple tackles on a 72-yard touchdown run.

Voting is open until next Friday at 10 a.m., and the winner will be announced during Week 9 of Friday Night Fever. Fans are encouraged to participate and help determine the week’s standout play.
