VIDEO: Watch a Troublemaking Punk Force His Way In — Caught on Camera!

A resident of Senita captured a startling incident on home surveillance footage late Friday night. The video clearly shows a young man vandalizing her front door with a kick before fleeing the scene.
This troubling trend, referred to as “door kicking,” continues to plague the area. Keely Suganuma, the homeowner, reported hearing shots fired shortly after the door was kicked. “If you know anything, contact MPD!” she urged the community.
Earlier in July, multiple reports surfaced regarding similar door-kicking incidents in Suganuma’s neighborhood. Initially believed to be inspired by a viral online trend, this prank resembles ding-dong-ditch but escalates to property damage and potential felonies. The challenge, which originated on TikTok, involves youths banging on doors in the middle of the night and running away, a dangerous activity that could end with serious consequences for participants.
Local youths are reportedly seeking social media fame by engaging in this reckless behavior, which has terrorized residents as they sleep. Reports indicate that several homes in Senita and the nearby Tortosa community were targeted during this spree.
Maricopa Police Department spokesperson Monica Williams verified Suganuma’s account of shots being heard near her home but confirmed that no evidence of a shooting was found. “It’s important to report incidents directly to MPD so a thorough investigation can take place,” Williams stated. She noted that this trend had not been a significant issue in Maricopa until now.
Other residents in the Maricopa area have echoed Suganuma’s experience, asserting they too have fallen victim to similar door-kicking incidents.
In a previous incident in July, another resident revealed images of a severely damaged front door resulting from this challenge. Senita resident Ron Ingram emphasized the need for parents to discuss the dangers associated with such trends with their children. “Nobody in Arizona is playing games about the safety of their family,” he warned.
The situation raises concerns, especially as similar challenges have led to severe consequences in other regions. For instance, in July, a teenager in Maine was injured during a less aggressive variation of this trend.
In recent years, other viral challenges have also drawn ire, including the “condom snorting challenge” and the “Kia Boyz challenge,” each promoting reckless behavior among youth, often leading to dangerous situations and property damage.
