Video Captures Dramatic Armed Robbery at Valley Ice Cream Shop

PHOENIX — An armed robbery took place at Lix Uptown Ice Cream over the weekend, as captured in a video shared with 12News. The incident occurred on Friday, May 23, prompting immediate concern in the community.

The footage shows a suspect entering the shop, brandishing what appears to be a firearm, and demanding money from the register. After taking cash, the individual left the scene. Employees quickly contacted the authorities.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, no injuries were reported during the incident. Authorities confirmed they are actively investigating and have yet to identify the suspect.

Lix Uptown has since urged anyone with information to contact the Phoenix Police. The community is on alert as law enforcement works to resolve the case.
