Victims Unite in Powerful Voices Following Guilty Verdict in Lori Vallow Daybell’s Third Trial

PHOENIX — Lori Vallow Daybell has been convicted once more, this time in Arizona, for conspiring to kill Brandon Boudreaux, her niece’s ex-husband. The jury delivered its verdict swiftly, spending less than 30 minutes deliberating.
This marks Vallow Daybell’s third criminal trial within a span of three years. Previously, she faced convictions in Idaho for murdering her children, Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow, as well as for her involvement in the death of Tammy Daybell, the first wife of her current husband, Chad Daybell. She is already serving a life sentence in Idaho.
In April, she was found guilty in another Arizona case related to a conspiracy to murder her former husband, Charles Vallow. Following the convictions, Boudreaux addressed the media, emphasizing the need for justice. “We owe it to those who are victimized to uphold justice,” he stated.
The incident in question involved Boudreaux being shot at by Vallow Daybell’s brother outside his Gilbert home in 2019. While Boudreaux was unharmed, a bullet struck and shattered his car window.
Representing herself in this trial, Vallow Daybell opted not to present evidence or any witnesses. However, she did cross-examine witnesses, including Boudreaux himself. After being questioned, Boudreaux shared his sentiments about facing her in court, noting, “I owed it to Charles, to Tylee, to JJ and to Tammy, to speak.” He expressed gratitude for the support he received throughout the years.
Kay Woodcock, JJ Vallow’s grandmother and Charles Vallow’s sister, stood alongside Boudreaux, echoing sentiments of unity and determination throughout the proceedings. She raised her fist in triumph after the verdict, declaring, “We got the b**** again,” echoing her brother’s sentiments from previous cases.
According to the prosecution, Vallow Daybell’s co-conspirators include Chad Daybell and her late brother, Alex Cox. Chad Daybell was sentenced to death in Idaho for his role in the murders of Tylee, JJ, and Tammy. Alex Cox passed away in December 2019 before charges were filed against him.
As for Melani Pawlowski, Brandon Boudreaux’s ex-wife, she has not been charged in this case, though the prosecution indicated she remains under investigation.
Looking ahead, Vallow Daybell is scheduled for sentencing on her two Arizona murder conspiracy convictions in July. Following this, she will be extradited to Idaho to serve the remainder of her life in prison.
The Gilbert Police issued a statement acknowledging the outcome of the trial, thanking all involved for their dedication to justice. They hope the verdict brings closure to the victims and their families.
