Vice President Kamala Harris And Governor Tim Walz Visit the Valley

Glendale, AZ.

The general election is drawing near, and candidates are actively addressing voters about their qualifications. Arizona has once again become a focal point as a “battleground state.” Last week, the Desert Diamond Arena buzzed with over 15,000 attendees gathered to support Democratic party leaders.

The rally featured prominent figures including Senator Mark Kelly, Congressman Greg Stanton, and Congressman Ruben Gallego. A number of local officials also joined, showcasing a united front. Among them were Senator Catherine Miranda, Representative Quanta Crews, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, Tempe Mayor Corey Woods, Mesa Mayor John Giles, Chandler Vice Mayor OD Harris, Phoenix City Councilwoman Keisha Hodges-Washington, and Tempe City Councilwoman Berdetta Hodge.

Vice President Kamala Harris emphasized key issues such as international relations, immigration, the economy, and abortion rights. The enthusiasm was palpable even before the main speakers took the stage. Harris and her colleagues effectively engaged with the crowd throughout the event, which the Democrats hope will energize their base leading up to November.
