Vice President Kamala Harris, running mate Gov. Tim Walz to campaign in Arizona this week

PHOENIX — With early voting commencing this week, Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz are scheduled to visit Arizona to galvanize support for their campaign.

The announcement was made on Sunday, highlighting Harris’s visit on Friday and Walz’s stop on Wednesday, just a month ahead of Election Day.

Harris’s itinerary includes appearances on various popular media platforms, such as The View and 60 Minutes, in addition to engaging in a Univision Town Hall. As part of her campaign efforts, she will also visit both Nevada and Arizona.

Governor Walz will be actively participating in the campaign as well. His schedule features interviews on Fox News and Jimmy Kimmel Live, with additional events lined up in Reno before his arrival in Arizona.

In Arizona, Walz plans to hold events in Chandler, Phoenix, and a rally in Tucson. Details about Harris’s specific locations in the state remain undisclosed.

The upcoming visits come as Arizona gears up for early voting, set to begin on Wednesday. Previous campaign activities featured prominent figures like actress Jennifer Garner and former officials Stephanie Grisham and Susan Rice, who were in Phoenix advocating for the Harris-Walz ticket.

Adding to the campaign’s momentum, Doug Emhoff, the Vice President’s husband, will also be in Arizona for various events promoting voter engagement.

Voter registration for the November election closes Monday at midnight, and residents are encouraged to register online. Early voting locations can be accessed to streamline the voting process.
