Vance Accuses Harris of Being Complicit in Border Chaos, Fentanyl Epidemic, and Child Trafficking

On Wednesday evening, a rally at Generation Church in Mesa attracted over 2,000 attendees, accompanied by additional overflow seating from Turning Point USA. Republican Vice Presidential nominee JD Vance, alongside TPUSA’s Charlie Kirk, delivered sharp criticisms regarding the implications of a potential Kamala Harris presidency.
The duo highlighted significant concerns, including the growing issues of fentanyl and child sex trafficking that extend beyond Arizona to the entire country. Vance specifically targeted Harris’ border policies, denouncing her campaign’s use of imagery from the border wall established during Donald Trump’s presidency. They also addressed the economic pressures of inflation affecting Arizonans, with Phoenix losing its once-coveted title of ‘most affordable city.’
Vance characterized Harris as “terrified of the media” and implied that her reluctance to communicate without a teleprompter reflects her concerns about public perception. “She knows the American people can smell a fraud, and she is a fraud,” he asserted, urging the audience to remember this perception.
Vance and Kirk further discussed the complicated relationships among Democratic leaders, recalling Harris’ controversial support for a bail fund linked to the Minneapolis riots of Summer 2020. Vance emphasized the contradiction in her claims of supporting law enforcement while previously aiding those charged with violence against officers, stating, “We can never let her forget it.”
Addressing Harris’ tenure in the Biden administration, Vance expressed disbelief at her promises to tackle various issues on “day one,” referencing her three years in office. “What the hell have you been doing the whole time?” he pressed, highlighting the disconnect between her rhetoric and record.
In a personal moment, Vance shared the impact of addiction on his family, revealing his mother’s struggles and how fentanyl could have easily endangered her life. He also spotlighted the child trafficking crisis, stating, “320,000 kids, and we know, by the way, a lot of those kids have lost their lives.” Vance articulated that these challenges stem from Harris’s “disastrous” border policies and urged the audience to reconsider her narrative as compassionate.
He concluded with a powerful plea to recognize the gravity of the issues at stake. “Never let them tell you that Kamala Harris’s border policies are compassionate,” he declared, reinforcing the urgent need for responsible governance.
