Valley Soaked: Last Night’s Rainfall Totals Revealed!
MARICOPA COUNTY, Ariz. — Labor Day weekend brought a mix of gusty winds, dust storms, and some rainfall to the Valley. Reports indicated varying degrees of precipitation across the region, with the East Valley experiencing more notable rainfall compared to its western counterpart.
The rainfall totals from recent days highlight these differences. Pinnacle Peak Vista in Scottsdale received 0.55 inches, while areas near University Drive and 62nd Street in Mesa saw 0.51 inches. Other significant totals included Loop 202 and Brown Road in Mesa with 0.71 inches, and Florence Junction in Queen Valley recorded 0.39 inches. In contrast, locations like Cave Creek Landfill and Freestone Basin in Gilbert saw much less, with only 0.08 inches and 0.04 inches respectively.
