PHOENIX — Recent monsoon storms on Thursday delivered significant rainfall to the Phoenix Metro area, despite the season nearing its end.

According to the latest data from Maricopa County, most precipitation was concentrated in Phoenix, extending into Scottsdale, with some rainfall also registered in Apache Junction. This weather activity has added to the region’s overall rainfall totals.

In the last 24 hours, here are some of the recorded rainfall amounts across the Valley:

  • ASU South: 0.43 inches
  • South Mountain Park Headquarters: 0.12 inches
  • Downtown Phoenix: 0.04 inches
  • Camelback Mountain East: 0.43 inches
  • Paradise Valley Country Club: 0.23 inches
  • Dreamy Draw Dam: 0.08 inches
  • McCormick Ranch: 0.43 inches
  • Aztec Park: 0.59 inches
  • Lost Dog Wash: 0.16 inches
  • Apache Junction: 0.20 inches

As of 6:45 PM, the National Weather Service reported a decrease in the intensity of storms across Greater Phoenix. The potential for damaging winds and flash flooding has also diminished, although caution is still advised as conditions can change rapidly.
