Urgent: Morning Staff Wanted at WSS!
West Sedona School (WSS) announced on Thursday, December 12, that it will be suspending its before-school care program due to a staffing shortage. This decision will take effect when classes resume after the winter break on Tuesday, January 7.
Principal Alisa Stieg emphasized the importance of making alternate arrangements for families who depend on the before-school care service. The program, which typically operates from 6:50 to 8:20 a.m., Monday through Friday, had been catering to approximately 27 students. Unfortunately, the sole staff member responsible for overseeing the morning shift is no longer available.
The school is actively seeking individuals interested in the position. Those looking to earn extra income during the morning hours are encouraged to contact Principal Stieg at (928) 204-6601 or via email at stieg@sedonak12.org. Stieg expressed regret over the disruption this may cause for families relying on the program.
