The Encanto-Palmcroft Historic Preservation Association is set to host its annual Historic Home Tour and Street Fair on Sunday, March 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event invites Valley residents to explore the rich history of one of Phoenix’s oldest communities.
For $30, attendees can gain entry to a selection of beautifully preserved homes that exemplify the architectural charm of the area. In addition to the home tours, a free street fair will showcase local art, food, and a vibrant community spirit, offering a full day of entertainment for all ages. Tickets for the home tour will be available for purchase at the fair entrance located at 12th Avenue and Holly Street.
Many homes in this 98-year-old neighborhood were constructed before World War II, representing a unique glimpse into the past of the once-ideal suburban retreat. Today, Encanto-Palmcroft remains a sought-after residential area, celebrated for its historical significance and charm.
