Tucson Sentinel’s Paul Ingram Joins AZPM’s Press Room This Friday

The Tucson Sentinel has announced a series of upcoming political events and broadcasts. Notably, on Friday, March 28, reporter Paul Ingram will participate in a panel discussion on AZPM’s Press Room. The program, moderated by Steve Goldstein, will highlight major news stories of the week and airs at 8:30 p.m. on PBS 6 and NPR affiliate KUAZ-FM, 89.1 FM. It will also be available for streaming on the AZPM YouTube channel.
Additionally, Ingram will appear again on the same day at noon alongside Jim Nintzel, who will interview Arizona Sen. Vince Leach on the Buckmaster Show, broadcast on KVOI, 1030 AM, with episodes accessible for streaming at buckmastershow.com.
The following week, on April 4, Ingram will once again join host Bill Buckmaster to interview state Sen. JD Mesnard at the same time and place as before.
Key deadlines for the Tucson City Council campaigns approach on April 7, when candidates must submit their nominating petitions. A similar deadline for Congressional District 7 will follow on April 14, a special election prompted by the passing of U.S. Rep. Raul Grijalva.

The deadline to register to vote in the CD7 special election is on June 16. Early voting will kick off on June 18, when ballots will be mailed to voters.
The political calendar continues with key dates for upcoming elections: July 8 marks the registration deadline for the city of Tucson primary election, while early voting for this election will commence on July 9. The primary elections for the CD7 special election will take place on July 15, followed by the primary election for Tucson City Council races on August 5.
Early voting for the CD7 special general election begins on August 27, with the general election day set for September 23. The general election for Tucson City Council races will conclude the cycle on November 4.
