Trump urges all of Tehran to evacuate 'immediately' in new social media post

PRESS RELEASE — Early Monday, Israel’s military disseminated an evacuation warning impacting approximately 330,000 individuals in a central area of Tehran.

TEL AVIV, Israel — In a decisive move from Canada during the G7 summit, President Donald Trump issued a stark call for the evacuation of Tehran via his social media. He cited Iran’s nuclear ambitions, reinforcing his stance by stating, “IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON.”

Trump emphasized that Iran should have adhered to a previous agreement to avoid what he referred to as “a shame, and waste of human life,” a comment directed at Israel’s recent military actions.

Concluding his post, he urged, “Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!” This city, with a population of around 9.5 million, has been a focal point of the escalating tensions.

Just hours before Trump’s warning, Israel conducted aerial strikes, including a targeted attack on Iran’s state-run television during a live broadcast, following missile strikes from Iran that reportedly killed at least eight individuals.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that these military actions would significantly hinder Iran’s nuclear program, asserting that Israel does not intend to dismantle the Iranian government, although he noted it could occur as a consequence of their strikes.

“The regime is very weak,” Netanyahu stated, while simultaneously detailing his ongoing communications with Trump amidst the series of explosions reported in Tehran.

As the conflict continues, Israel’s military claimed air superiority over Iranian skies, maintaining that they had inflicted severe damage on Iran’s military capabilities, including the destruction of multiple missile launchers and command centers.

On their part, Iranian authorities announced retaliation, reporting the launch of around 100 missiles, accusing Israel of devastating their military infrastructure and resulting in significant casualties.

In Israel, missile strikes have also proven deadly, with deaths reported in cities like Petah Tikva and Haifa, where an oil refinery sustained damage from missile impacts, resulting in the tragic deaths of three workers.

Emergency services have been on high alert, responding to wounded citizens and confining residential areas due to the ongoing threat. One resident from Petah Tikva, despite losing his home, reiterated support for continued military action against Iran, prioritizing future safety.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi extended a potential diplomatic olive branch to the U.S., suggesting interventions that could de-escalate the ongoing conflict. However, rising hostilities have complicated existing diplomatic ties.

As clashes intensify, casualties rise on both sides, signaling a deepening crisis with no immediate resolution in sight. Reports from rights groups indicate that the Iranian government’s death toll may be underreported, raising humanitarian concerns.

The situation remains tense, with military operations persisting and public safety deteriorating in the affected regions.
